Would you like to take part in an archaeological excavation?
Have you an interest in uncovering the hidden history of what lies beneath your feet?
Join the team of archaeologists this summer and help to excavate the ruins of a 13th
century Dominican Blackfriary in Ireland’s heritage capital,Trim, County Meath.

One week participation (Monday – Friday) is now reduced to €475
And a second week’s participation is only an additional  €300.

Places on a first come first served basis.  No experience necessary. Excavations

Participation includes learning the skills of an archaeologist, learning about Ireland’s rich archaeological history, a visit to the beautiful Trim castle (featured in the movie “Braveheart”), and a guided visit through time to learn the history of Trim, and a visit to one of the world class ancient heritage sites of the Boyne Valley, County Meath.  

On site ‘Dig it Kids’ simulated history and archaeology summer camp for under 12’s.
