
Dowth
Dowth is part of the United Nations World Heritage Site of Brú na Boinne Megalithic Cemetery. Dating from about five thousand years ago it is possibly the oldest tumuli dating from the Neolithic age. Dowth is situated in the bend of the Boyne where it overlooks a ridge.
Dowth has two passage graves that are built in the mound and are closely built quite close togther. The passage stone is decorated with Megalithic drawings.
