Headfort
Headfort house was built in the 18th century by the Taylor family. The Taylor family remained the private owners of the house until 1949 when they moved to one wing of the house leaving the rest of the house free. They leased the house out to the newly formed Headfort School. The 36 hole Championship Golf Course, Headfort Golf Club, is situated nearby.
