Moynalty
This pretty village of Moynalty is located about 7kms from Kells to the left of Carlanstown crossroads. The district here is very hilly.
The vilage is also won the prestigous Tidy Towns Award on several occasions.
The village is also home to the famous Moynalty Steam Threshing Festival which is held in August each year and features displays of vintage machinery, demonstrations of steam threshing and other old time skills.
