Meath Tourism and Meath County Council commissioned a review of the entire organisation during 2004 to refocus the direction of the organisation to enable it to better manage the challenges  over the next five years to 2010.  The board of Directors was reviewed, reassessed and restructured.  A new mission statement was designed and adopted for the company.  The core role of Meath Tourism was reviewed and refocused to reflect the main challenges to the tourism industry of Co.
