East Border Region Campaign

The Great Britain Short Breaks Marketing Campaign is currently being rolled out in conjunction with the East Border Region Tourism Partnership. The Spring and Summer campaign is managed by the ten councils (Ards, Armagh, Banbridge, Craigavon, Down, Louth, Meath, Newry & Mourne, North Down).

Activity from the campaign

1. Web-based activity-A special micro-site aimed at the UK market was created which gives detail on the region and includes special offers which Meath Tourism members provided for the campaign.To view the website, please click www.discoverireland.com/adventures08

2. Television Advertising-The campaign features a television campaign in conjunction with P&O Ferries. The advertisement uses the most iconic attraction for each region. For County Meath, the ancient tomb of Newgrange is featured.
