Athboy Stables Farmers Market was established following the successful renovation of a historical site as part of Diarmuid Gavin's Dirty Old Towns RTE TV program.
Athboy Farmers Market has made a positive contribution to the social life of the town.
Old friends and new acquaintances meet each Sunday while perusing fruit & veg, freshly baked bread & cakes,
hand made jewellery, artisan foods & produce, flowers and hand made decorations.
Our preference is to support local artisan businesses. Sit and stay while enjoying a tasty snack,
and enjoy the local musician's and entertainers with their performances.
We have a large Marquee for activities & cover from the weather. Various activities from each stallholder
The Market entrance is through a gate on a side road so it is a family (and dog) friendly location.
Parking is available next to the Stables site.
The current cost is € 10 per stand/pitch with an additional cost of € 10 for a 10'x10' canopy.
Stallholders provide their own tables. This outdoor market is situated in a purpose-built enclosed area.
Please contact us when you wish to take a pitch at the market, booking is essential.
