Spirits of Meath Halloween Festival ends with a bang!
The county's first ever Halloween Festival ended with a bang as hundreds of people joined the traditional torchlight procession up to Tlachtga (Hill of Ward) on Saturday 31st October - to re-enact and remember where this great festival started some 2,000 years ago...

Meath has now become firmly established as the Halloween County as stunning events took place the length and breadth of the county over 10 days. Pumpkin Carving, Halloween Spooktacular, Ceillis, Spooky Tours, Halloween Gourmet Wine nights, Street Theatre, Samhain Sounds Busking, Barm Brack making, Gorey Tales, murder mystery weekends and nights of harvests, feasts and spiritual encounters throughout the county…. And it all happened a short broom stick ride from wherever you were!
