‘Brides to Be’ flock to Kells for Boot camp!

For most of us 2010 promises to be a challenging year but for those planning to say ‘I do’ this year, nothing should spoil a girls aspirations of looking their best on that Special Day they have always dreamt of!

The Headfort Arms in Kells has joined forces with local leisure providers to provide a weekend with a difference for Brides to Be. Bridal Boot camp, a three day intensive weekend programme offers Brides to be an eclectic challenging mix from early morning to late evening sure to yield results for those taking nuptials in the coming year

The weekend is hosted by Fitness guru and motivational expert Michele Dixon of Fresh Air Fitness and using the great local resources of Causey Farm Fordstown, Drewstown House Adventures and even a hiking expedition to the megalithic cairns of Loughcrew. The intensive programme includes a wonderful balance of activities sure to provide a platform for Brides to be or indeed anyone who yearns some motivational assistance to turn a new leaf in personal well being.

The family run Headfort Arms Hotel in Kells will provide a base of luxury for the 3 night course. Participants will be given an assessment on arrival and departure to ensure commitment and set goals for the weekend ahead. Activities include Pilates, Hiking, outdoor boot camp Adventures, farm fitness, aqua fit and winding down with evening time yoga & massage. Guests will learn tools to embrace lifestyle choices through juicing demonstrations, nutritional workshops and fitness plans for the future.


Bookings are now being taken for the all encompassing weekend which will take place for the first time in March, from Thursday March 11th to 14th. The course is available for an all inclusive rate of €499 pps, including all activities, food, luxury accommodation, workshops, classes and fitness plans.
