The Snailbox is a charming family run establishment set in the fertile lands of County Meath. With our unique setting it is possible to see the panoramic views of the counties of Meath, Louth, Dublin & even the Cooley peninsula.

This 150 year old pub prides itself on serving excellent home-cooked, locally sourced food all day which is served by our friendly & efficient staff. During the day we have our ever popular lunch menu, & in the evening time we have our full al a carte menu. We are also available for group lunches or dinners.

The Snailbox-Seisiún Ríoga Irish Traditional Night

Every Thursday night we have our Seisiún Ríoga Irish Traditional Night.
A night where you can experience great tasting traditional food, sing along to our entertaining trad band, and even dance with our fast paced Irish dancers, who will show you a few steps to bring home with you. The night is set in our Jem Clarke, a room filled with antiquities, local history & has an old world, cosy feel. Our Seisiún captures the true nature of our famous “Irish Craic” & welcoming hospitality!

Bookings are essential & group rates are available. The Seisiún starts from 7.30pm-10.30pm. Price per person €49.50 (includes dinner & show)inclusive of VAT.
