The Dillon family have lived at the Grove approx 300 years.

The gardens were created by it’s present owner, Mr Pat Dillon.  They are informal and laid out in such a way, they blend in naturally with the surrounding environment. Spacious well kept lawns, herbaceous borders, old roses, early and late flowering clematis, and a very lush family vegetable garden.  This garden was featured on RTE, BBC and UTV and written about in various gardening books both at home and abroad.  We have created a garden that both young and old feel they are able to relax in.

GROVE ANIMAL FARM AND TROPICAL BIRD GARDEN

On entering Grove farm you will be greeted by the talking parrots, which are very entertaining.  There are areas throughout the gardens where you will see tropical birds, farm animals, fowl, llamas, ponies and of course Bimbo the friendly donkey and see the ducks on their pond. There is a playing field and sand pit.  We have picnic areas throughout the farm (both indoor and outdoor).  The gardens and open farm is enjoyed by both adults and children.  It is a lovely relaxing place to spend a morning or afternoon.
