Exam Stress Workshop for Leaving Cert. Students
Thursday 25th April 7pm – 8pm
A stress free workshop with Catherine Carr. Catered for leaving certificate students with techniques to remain calm and focused for their exams.

Children’s Easter Egg Colouring Competition ages 3- 12 years

Parent & Toddler Easter Stories and Children’s Songs
Tuesday April 16th 11am – 12pm
& Tuesday 23rd April 11am – 12pm. Ages under 6 years.
Bring your child along for Easter crafts & colouring with an Easter stories and songs session with Mary, which begins at 11.45am

Kids Easter Film Club – Ages 6+
Wednesday 17th April 2pm 11am
To get us in the mood for Easter, we are showing an Easter themed film upstairs. Please leave your name at the desk if you wish to attend. Bring your popcorn!

Easter Extravaganza Arts & Crafts with Trisha
Ages 6 – 10 years. Thursday 18th April 3.30pm. 
Come along and make some great Easter items with Trisha. Trisha will be starting a new kid’s arts and crafts course in the library in May.

Easter Ladybird Book Treasure Hunt! One Day Only!
Thursday 18th April
We have hidden the small ladybird storybooks around the library. If you find one bring it to the desk and receive a chocolate ladybird!

Parent & Baby Room
We have a relaxing parent & baby room, including a nappy changing unit, bottle warmer, parent magazines and a CD player for relaxing music.  Ask at the desk if you wish to use the room..

Parent & Toddler Group
This runs term time only. Tuesday  mornings between 10am – 12pm. We are looking for volunteers for our Thursday Group.
Bring your child along for games & activities. There is a charge of €2 per morning. On Tuesdays there is also a free stories and songs session with Mary our Librarian, which begins at 11.45am. Ask at the desk for details.

Stories and Songs for the under 6s
Every Tuesday 11.45am – 12.15pm
Come along for stories and songs with Mary. If Mary is unavailable we have stories and songs on DVD. No booking required.

Ashbourne Young Adult Scout Group
Meets every Thursday from 7pm.

Coderdojo Club – Looking for volunteers to help
Coderdojo is a global collaboration providing free and open learning to young people, especially in programming technology.
Next meeting 6th April 2.30pm. Ages 7—14 years. Book your place for each session via the Ashbourne Coderdojo facebook page. Like the page and leave a message that you wish to attend. All children need a laptop with the ‘Scratch' 2.0 offline editor' ’ programme downloaded from the MIT Scratch website. Parents must attend with their children.

Student Study
Please note that due to the demand for quiet study space, upstairs space is available for Leaving Cert. and College exam study, ask for details at the desk, due to one off events some of these quiet times may vary. Students are welcome to use the spaces at other times but have to bear in mind as a community library, other events may be running.
