Meath Community Preparedness Alliance

Meath Community Preparedness Alliance (Comhghuaillíocht Ullmhachta Pobail na Mí) is a database of people who may require additional support in the event of an Adverse Event affecting the county.

Meath Community Preparedness Alliance

The Database is held by Meath County Council.

An Adverse Event could be defined as a red weather warning as determined by Met Eireann, or direction from national government to the Local Authority to stand up local coordination groups, an incident that impacts on communities for greater than 24 hours and requires a coordinated response. This includes any event that poses a direct threat to the safety, health, or welfare of older and vulnerable people. Examples could include localised flooding or response to an emergency as defined by the major emergency plan.
