Community Centre Infrastructure Fund (CCIF)

The Community Centres Investment Fund (CCIF) is a national funding programme run by the Department of Rural and Community Development and the Gaeltacht to support community centres across Ireland.

Kilcloon Community Centre was approved for €2.04 million in April 2024 by the Minister for Rural and Community Development, Heather Humphreys TD, under the Community Centres Investment Fund (New Builds measure, 2023).

This approval was made through the Department of Rural and Community Development as part of a national funding programme.

Outdoor Recreation Infrastructure Scheme (ORIS)

The Outdoor Recreation Infrastructure Scheme provides funding for the development of new and existing outdoor recreational infrastructure in rural areas.

The ORIS 2026/2027 Scheme is now open.

Measure 1 and Project Development Measure, completed expression of interest forms must be submitted by close of business on the 7th of August 2026.
