Meath County Council Library Service is delighted to announce a series of one-hour public information evenings in Meath libraries, an expression of visible support and solidarity with LGBTQ+ citizens of Meath.  Each event will be facilitated by Outcomers LGBTQ+ support group, and a guest speaker.

These will take place in Dunshaughlin Library on Tuesday, May 16 at 7.30pm, in Kells Library on Tuesday, May 30 at 7.30pm, and in Navan Library on Tuesday, June 13 at 7.30pm. All welcome, no booking required.

Each event will provide a safe and supportive space to educate and inform, and where a shared understanding and solidarity can grow.

We would like to invite LGBTQ+ families, friends, allies, peers, colleagues, schoolmates, teachers, youth leaders, sports groups, youth groups, and others interested in learning and sharing to attend.

We are delighted to collaborate with all LGBTQI+ allies and support groups including Youthwork Ireland Navan branch, Outcomers Dundalk, Navan Pride, Dublin Pride, and the Solstice Arts Centre.

The Meath Operation Rainbow initiative is funded and supported by the Government of Ireland and the Dormant Accounts Fund (DAF).

Meath County Council Library Service continues to provide a welcoming and inclusive space for all members of our community.
