Wildlife of Ireland : An Online Drawing Course for Adults

Saturday 10th, 17th, 24th April and 1st May from 11 - 12 am via Zoom

These step by step drawing classes are suitable for adult beginners and this 4 week workshop is a fun interactive activity, that is both enjoyable and educational. 

Learn fundamental drawing skills in sketching that is simple and accessible and you will also gain an appreciation for the natural world.

Each weekly drawing will be based on native Irish wildlife, both flora and fauna. You will be taken step-by-step through each drawing exercise and be able
to produce your own pencil artwork. 

Each session will have a different lesson focus;
Session 1- Form and shape.
Session 2 - Sketching and Tone.
Session 3 - Texture and adding details.
Session 4 - Compositions and setting a scene.

Course Dates: Saturday Apr 10th, Apr 17th, Apr 24th and May 1st.

Time: 11 am - 12 pm via Zoom

Materials Needed: Paper/sketchbook and Artist Pencils – one lighter pencil (2H) one medium (2B) and a darker pencil (6B)

Grace HaynesThe course facilitator is Grace Haynes, who is an Illustrator with a Bachelor Degree in Graphic Design and Illustration from Ulster University Belfast.
She has been teaching online step by step drawing classes to people of all ages and has facilitated several courses with both adults and children for the Creative Ireland programme in Monaghan and other local authorities.
