Temporary Road Closure - L2207/L2210 on the Derrypatrick and Dunsany Roads
The road Closure will extend 7.4 km from the intersection at the R154 and L2207 from Batterjohn Cross on the R154 travelling south west along the L2207/L2210 where it intersects with the R156 and 3 km from the intersection at the R154 and L2207 (Batterjohn Cross) travelling North East along the L2207 where it intersects at the junction with the L2208. The dates for the road closure are from 8.00 hrs Tuesday 2nd June 2020 and be continuous until 18.00 hrs Friday 12th June 2020.
En-route to Summerhill via R154
Traffic travelling east bound on the R154 en-route to Summerhill will continue on the R154 for approximately 4 km and will be diverted onto the R125. At the intersection of the R125 / R156, traffic will be diverted onto the R156 towards Summerhill. End Detour.
En-route to the R154 via Dunsany
Traffic travelling from the intersection of the R147/L2207 (Ross Cross) will continue on the L2207 until the Dunsany Village junction (Intersection of the L2207 & Kileen Rd). Traffic will be diverted onto Kileen road and continue until the L2208 intersects with the R125. Traffic will travel south along the R125 until the R125 intersects with the R154. Traffic can then continue travelling East bound or West bound along the R154. End Detour
Diversion and information signage will be in place for the duration of the temporary road closure.
Access for residents and property holders will be facilitated throughout the closure period.
