Temporary Road Closure of L-5003-44 Blacklion Road, Co. Meath
Meath County Council has made an order to temporarily close the L-5003-44 Blacklion Road from its junction with the L-5007-0 to its junction with the R-155-0 to facilitate the installation of ESB ducting as part of the grid route from the new solar farm at Hilltown towards the ESB substation located at Buntrasna off the R155-0.

- Closure will be from midnight on Monday, 6th June 2022 until midnight on Wednesday, 15th July 2022.
Alternative routes
Local Diversion
- At the junction L-5007-0/L-5003-44 turn left and travel along the L-5007-0 for 1.2km.
- Turn left at the junction with the L50072-0 and continue until you reach the L-5003-44.
Main Diversion
All vehicular traffic intending to travel southbound
- At the junction L-5007-0/L-5003-44 turn right and travel east until you reach the N2.
- Turn right and travel south for 1.5km on the N2 until you reach Primatestown Junction (N2/R155-0).
- Turn right onto the R-155-0 and continue west until you reach the roundabout/junction of R155-0/L5033-44.
All vehicular traffic intending to travel northbound
- At the junction of R-155-2/L5003-44 turn right at the roundabout and travel north east to the junction with the N2.
- Turn left onto the N2 and continue north for 1.5km until you reach the junction with L-5038-0.
- Turn left onto L-5038-0 and continune west for 950m past the Snailbox Restaurant & Bar until you reach jucntion with L-5003-44.
