Temporary Closure of L1610 Abbey Road, Duleek, Co Meath
Meath County Council has made an order to close L1610 Abbey Road, Duleek, Co Meath from its junction with L1004 Boolies to its junction with N2 Balrath Cross.
The closure will be for three weeks within the period from 7am on Monday, 16 June 2025 to 7pm on Thursday, 31 July 2025 for 24 hrs per day.
This road closure is required to facilitate the permanent road reinstatement works following the installation of new infrastructure (Duleek to Navan Trunk Main Pipeline Project) on behalf of Uisce Éireann.
Alternative Routes
Eastbound
At N2/L1610 junction at Balrath Cross, take N2 northbound to its junction with R150, turn right onto R150 and continue eastbound on R150 to its junction with L1610 in Duleek, turn right onto L1610 and continue westbound to its junction with L1004 at Boolies.
Westbound
At the L1610/L1004 junction at Boolies, take L1610 eastbound to its junction with R150 in Duleek, turn left onto R150 and continue westbound on R150 to its junction with N2, turn left onto N2 and continue southbound on N2 to its junction with L1610 at Balrath Cross.
Diversion and information signage will be in place.
Access for residents and property holders will be facilitated throughout the closure period.
