Commercial Rates

Commercial Rates are a property tax levied by Local Authorities on the occupiers of commercial and industrial property.  Local Authorities collect rates based on property valuations.

The Annual Rate on Valuation for the County District of Meath for the service of the financial year ending on the 31st December 2023 is €0.1938.

Commercial Rate Calculation: Property Valuation x Annual Rate

Therefore if the valuation on your property is €10,000, the Commercial Rate is €0.1938 (10,000 x €0.1938)
