Commercial Rates

Commercial Rates are a property tax levied by Local Authorities on the occupiers of commercial and industrial property. Local Authorities collect rates based on property valuations.

The Annual Rate on Valuation for the County District of Meath for the service of the financial year ending on the 31st December 2025 is €0.1938.

Therefore if the valuation on your property is €10,000, the Commercial Rate is €0.1938 (10,000 x €0.1938)

Business Support Scheme

The Members of Meath County Council have allocated a fund in the Annual Budget for 2025 to encourage and support businesses in County Meath under the Business Support Scheme 2025.
