Meath County Council has made an order to close sections of the M1 from Junction 8 to Junction 10 (Northbound).

The total duration of the roadworks is expected to be eight weeks, during which time the motorway mainline, interchange slip roads, roundabouts and side roads may be closed. It is the intention of Celtic Roads Group (CRG) to minimise the number of and duration of road closures within the above period. Road closures will generally be between two junctions only.

Meath County Council has made an order to close sections of the M1 from Junction 8 to Junction 10 (Northbound).

It is the intention of Celtic Roads Group (CRG) to minimise the number of and duration of road closures within the above period. Road closures will generally be between two junctions only.

The closures will be on various dates within the period 8 April 2024 to 8 June 2024. Diversions will be in place, at night time only, between the hours of 7.30pm to 6.30am.

The road closures are required to facilitate Celtic Roads Group (CRG) pavement works.

Alternative Routes

Mainline Diversion using the following national, regional and local roads; R152, R108, R132 (old N1), N51, L1601 Donore Road.

Diversion signs will be in place.
