Temporary Closure of R-933-3 Castle Street, Trim, Co Meath
Notice is hereby given that Meath County Council has made an order to temporarily close R-933-3 Castle Street, Trim, Co Meath from its junction with R-154-257/R-160-1 Ring Road to its junction with L-4027-0 Finnegan’s Way.
The closure will be from 7.30am to midday on Saturday, 16 August 2025.
This road closure is required to facilitate the holding of the Boyne Adventure Race.
Alternative Routes:
Travelling South from Market St to the Ring Road
- From Market St (R-161-89), take Castle St (R-933-2) heading south to Finnegan’s Way (L-4027-0); turn right onto Finnegan’s Way and continue on to Emmet St (R161-87) and turn left. Continue on Emmet St to Patrick St (L-8015-0) and turn left, continue on Patrick St to the Ring Road (R-160-1).
Travelling from the Ring Road to Market St
- Take the Ring Road (R-160-1) south to Patrick St (L-8015-0) and turn right, continue on Patrick St and turn right onto Emmet St (R161-89), continue on Emmet St to Market St.
Local diversion and information signage will be in place. Access for residents and property holders will be facilitated throughout the closure period.
