Meath County Council hereby gives notice of its intention to temporarily close the roads listed below to public traffic for the dates and times specified in order to facilitate a Motor Cycle Race.

Times & Dates

Saturday, 15th June 2019 from 11.00a.m. to 7.00p.m.   (race practice)

Sunday, 16th June 2019 from 8.00a.m. to 7.00p.m.   (race day)

Closures

From Kells to Oldcastle

Diverted from the R163 onto the L6834 to Kilskeer along the R154 to the L6819/6818 at Rathniska to Drumone, along the L2809 onto the L2800 and from there to Oldcastle.

From Oldcastle to Kells

Diverted from the R163 at Ballinlough along the L6827/6828 onto the R147 at Whitegate and from there to Kells.

From Athboy to Oldcastle

Diverted from the R154 to the L6819/6818 at Rathniska to Drumone, along the L2809 onto the L2800 and from there to Oldcastle.

From Oldcastle to Athboy

Diverted from the R154 at Patrickstown to the L2800 onto the L2809 to Drumone to the L6818/6819 to the R154 at Rathniska and from there to Athboy.

All approach roads into the Village of Crossakiel, Kells, Co. Meath where the road races take place. 

Alternative Routes

Local diversions will be signposted.

Objections to the proposed temporary closures should be made in writing to the District Engineer, Kells Civic Offices, Headfort Place, Kells, Co. Meath by 12 noon on Wednesday, 29th May 2019.
