Navan Fire Station – Headquarters of Meath County Fire and Rescue Service
The central station in Navan acts both as the headquarters of Meath County Fire and Rescue Service and operates as a retained fire station for Navan brigade serving Navan and its catchment area.
This station has 7 appliance bays to house a large fleet including;
- 2 No. Class B Water Tenders
- 1 No. Aerial Appliance
- 1 No. Emergency Tender
- 1 No. Incident Command Unit
- 1 No. Water Tanker
- 1 No. Hazardous Materials Unit
- 3 No. 4 Wheel Drive Vehicles
There is a large drill yard and facilities for ongoing training of operational staff. An administration building accommodates the full time Operational, Fire Prevention and Administrative staff.
