Writing About Your Work with Visual Artists Ireland

Meath County Council Arts Office in partnership with Visual Artists Ireland hosted an arts development day for visual artists from Meath focusing on Writing About Your Work with Patricia Clyne Kelly.

An artist is required to write about their work for press releases, marketing purposes and for proposals and applications. The artists ability to convey this information in statements, biographies and CV’s aims to assist with people’s understanding of their work and what they are trying to achieve. This successful training provided a workshopped approach to developing artists’ statements and involved writing exercises and peer critique.
