Meath County Council Arts Grants, Awards, Bursaries & Residency Schemes 2021

Funding artists, arts activities and development is a key strategic objective of the Meath County Arts Development Plan 2019 – 2024.
To help maximise the potential for arts provision in the county, Meath County Council Arts Office operates a range of annual bursary and award schemes.
These schemes provide funding opportunities for creative organisations, arts practitioners and groups working with the arts in the county.
Through these schemes the Arts Offices aims to support a diverse range of arts activities and practice throughout county Meath.
Annual Arts Grant
This award is intended to support Meath based organisations, individuals or groups in the provision of local arts activities which enhance long-term development and sustainability of the arts in the County.

This award is intended to support Meath professionals within the arts sector in their continued professional development.

Digital Equipment Purchase Scheme
This award is intended to support individual artists, arts organisations or arts groups in the purchasing of ICT equipment to enhance the digital capability of arts practices in County Meath. This scheme is supported by Creative Ireland.

Francis Ledwidge Poetry Award
This scheme aims to support writers in the development of new works of poetry, award includes a bursary amount of €1,500 and a weeklong residency at the Tyrone Guthrie Centre Artists’ Retreat, Annaghmakerrig, Co. Monaghan.

Tyrone Guthrie Regional Bursary
This award, open to professional artists of all disciplines living in County Meath, is intended to fund a weeklong residential stay at the Tyrone Guthrie Artists’ Retreat in Annaghmakerrig, Co. Monaghan.
