Bus setdown areas are designated for the sole use of buses to set down to allow passengers to disembark the bus and are usually marked with a road marking and sign.

It is an offence to park in a bus setdown area.

Other vehicles parking in bus setdown areas are obstructing the normal flow of traffic and causing congestion.

Vehicles which block bus setdown areas can cause serious road safety issues to the bus, other road users and its passengers.
