175 Years of Navan Railway Photographic Exhibition
This photographic exhibition marks 175 years since the opening of the
railway at Railway Street in Navan. It is a celebration of its history, architecture, and people.
The original exhibition was held at the Solstice Arts Centre as part of Heritage Week 2025.
The exhibition was curated by architectural historian Dr Siobhan Osgood in partnership with
Navan and District Historical Society, with the canvases funded by Meath County Council.
The exhibition was a collection of original architectural drawings, historic photographs and
sketches displayed alongside photographs by Dr Osgood highlighting key architectural
features of Navan railway station, in particular its brick, wood and stonework.
