Become a Biodiversity Detective

This event is taking place in multiple branches, see below for details.

Take a look at the critters that live at the bottom of our rivers and streams at this live Biodiversity Detective demonstration day and learn how you can become one of Meath's newest citizen science recruits! The Environmental Science Kit for Ecological Recording provided by Meath County Council library service in partnership with the Heritage Council now provides an opportunity for all library users to borrow and trial a wide range of equipment to help you learn, study, observe and record Ireland's wildlife. To celebrate National Biodiversity Week, come along and test out the kit with Meath County Council's Biodiversity Officer!
