Cruinniú na nÓg: The Whodunnit Online Drama Camp (ages 9-12)

Weekly each Saturday from 8th May to 12th June from 10.30 to 11.30 am

There is a mystery to be solved and everyone is a suspect...

Get to know the Whodunnit plot structure and character tropes. Write and perform in your very own Mystery short film. 

This course takes place online using Zoom, one hour per day over five Saturdays. A closed showing of the film for participants and parents/guardians will take place at the end of the course as part of Cruinniú na nÓg on June 12th.

Course Details 

Age Category: 9 - 12 years

Workshop Dates: Saturday 8th, 15th, 22nd & 29th May 5th & 12th June, 

Time: 10.30 - 11.30 am.

The session on the 12th of June will be a Premiere of the short film made by the children in the workshops. This will be a closed Zoom session with participants and their parents/ guardians.

A number of the workshops will be recorded in preparation for the video premiere on the 12th.  The course is facilitated by Mollie Molumby from Bombinate Theatre and a member of Meath Library Service will be present at all of the workshops.

 Mollie MolumbyMollie Molumby is a writer, director and arts manager, specialising in arts experiences for, with and by children and young people. Her directing credits include Half Light, Susie and the Story Shredder and Disney World (Abbey Theatre as part of DYT 24 Hour Plays). She was assistant director on The Snapper (Gate Theatre). In 2020, she was commissioned by The Ark to write A Wintry Play as part of RTE After School Hub, a play which children could stage at home over winter. She has facilitated online courses with DCC Arts Office, Kildare Libraries and VISUAL: Carlow. 

Mollie will be garda vetted by Meath County Council in keeping with our Child Protection Policy.
