Meet Andrea Mara  as she discusses her writing, her books and more with author and former Meath writer-in-residence, Nicola Cassidy.

About the Author

Andrea Mara is an author (crime), one-time blogger (parenting), and mum of three (kids). She started her writing journey as a blogger, turned her hobby into a career in 2015 when she moved into the world of freelance writing for magazines and newspapers.  From there she turned her hand to crime fiction and her first book – a suspense thriller called "The Other Side of the Wall" was published by Poolbeg in June 2017.

Today, Andrea is a number one Sunday Times and Irish Times bestselling author, whose books have sold more than 900,000 copies. Her most recent novel, "It Should Have Been You", was a number 1 bestseller in Ireland for six weeks.

The TV adaptation of her 2021 book, All Her Fault, is in production, with Sarah Snook (Succession) playing the lead.

About the host

Nicola Cassidy, from county Louth, is an author and screenwriter, who has published four historical fiction novels. She was named Meath writer-in-residence for 2020.
