Summer Stars 2025: My dream room in a shoebox

Booking for July events opens on Thursday, June 26th. 

Children will design and build their own miniature dream bedroom inside a shoebox using a variety of fun craft materials. They’ll create tiny beds, posters, rugs, and more - bringing their imagination to life. All materials are provided, just bring an empty shoebox.

Suitable for children aged 7+ 

Booking is essential.

This event is part of our Summer Stars Reading Programme and there is a limit of 2 workshops per child.

Event participants need to be members of the library and signed up to Summer Stars. If you are not a member of the library but would like you join we can sign you up on the day of the event.
