Proposed Trimgate Street Pedestrianisation Scheme
Plans for the pedestrianisation of Trimgate Street are currently being finalised for a statutory public consultation process to be held in the coming weeks.
Meath Library Service received over €15,000 to assist, facilitate and reach out to people with disabilities and other marginalised groups.
Allocated under the Dormant Accounts Action Plan 2024, the funding injection delivered a range of furniture and equipment, including age-friendly chairs, height-adjustable desks, hand-held magnifiers, a high-spec magnifier for visitors to the Local Studies room, and age-friendly book trolleys.
All items will support the elderly and people with mobility needs or physical disabilities. The various products will maintain or improve an individual’s functioning and independence, thereby promoting their well-being
