Meath Arts Office are delighted to partner with Safe To Create in offering In-Person Active Bystander Training Workshops for Meath-based artists, arts workers & makers on Thursday 2nd May at Kells Courthouse Tourism & Cultural Hub, from 11am – 2pm. Cost: Free of charge for anyone working in the arts and creative sectors in Ireland.

Bystander training is an effective way to empower people to address and prevent harassment and discrimination in a workspace. It equips workers with the right knowledge, tools and motivation to intervene safely and stop inappropriate behaviour before it rises to the level of unlawful harassment. These in-person workshops are led by Professor Louise Crowley & leading policy analyst and consultant Olwen Dawe.
