Cruinniú na nÓg 2024: NYPD Street Art Project - Wha? ..

New NYPD Street Art Project to be unveiled on June 15th

Young people from Foróige's Navan Young Peoples Development Project (NYPD) have worked with local artist, Mark Smith to create a beautiful, unique piece of typography art to amplify their voices within their community. The group will tour the county in May with their completed work and take pictures with the piece beside public works of art opening their eyes to these public pieces; who created them, what the pieces represent and their significance within their community.

Their original creation, as well as the photographs of their tour, will  be unveiled on June 15th as part of the Meath Cruinniú na nÓg programme. After this date the piece of work will then travel to Kells to be exhibited as part of the Kells TypeTrail launching on June 27th.
