The Order of the Mermaids

Come on a magical, mystical journey with Droichead’s resident storyteller Grainne Rafferty Hear the story of how the mermaids battled against the wily Captain Redman, with all the knowledge the land and sea can provide. How Toe Fungus Tina gets messages from trees through her toes, learn the Bernie Bee Boogie and revel in Mandy the Mermaids tales about how the mysterious and extraordinary Order of the Mermaids came to be.

Funded by Creative Ireland, a day of free creativity for young people. Join us for the Cruinniú na nÓg Picnic at Sonairte Ecology Centre, where we will take over the Centre for the day, a collaboration between Meath and Louth County Councils for this year’s Cruinniú na nÓg, produced by Droichead Arts Centre.
