Meath Industrial Heritage Survey

Meath Industrial Heritage Survey

The Meath Industrial Heritage Survey is a database of information on 1,705 features of industrial heritage interest in Meath, and locational information on 1,676 quarries and lime kilns, derived from cartographic and written sources.

The project was commissioned by Meath County Council in 2008, with the aim of producing a searchable computerised inventory of industrial sites in the county. It is intended that this inventory will constitute the initial stage of a broader survey of Meath’s Industrial Heritage.
