Summer Stars Reading Adventure 2026
All children throughout the country are invited to join the adventure and to enjoy the fun and pleasure of reading over the summer.
Summer Stars is non-competitive and every child who reads even one book/ ebook is regarded as having completed the programme – and it’s all completely free!
We are planning the adventure and will have all the details of this year's programme very soon.
Primary Schools Homework Pass Reading Reward
We are asking schools once again to sign up for the Homework Pass Reading Reward Initiative. 54 schools have signed up to this initiative so far this year so check the list to see if your school has joined. If they have then you can earn a Homework Pass to use from September 2026 just by taking part in the Summer Stars Reading Adventure at your local Meath library.
