Great Progress at Second Meeting of the Meath Local Community Safety Partnership (LCSP)

Location
County-wide

The Meath LCSP, made up of community representatives, statutory agencies, and local stakeholders, met for the second time last week to drive forward new actions to make County Meath safer and stronger.

A key outcome of this second meeting was the formation of a new working group to start developing the Meath Local Community Safety Plan — the roadmap for local priorities and community‑centred safety. Public consultation is coming later this year, so your voice will help shape the plan. Stay tuned for dates and ways to get involved.

The Partnership also received positive updates from Meath Women’s Refuge on enhanced service supports and collaboration with local partners, while LCSP members also agreed a group submission to the An Garda Síochána CCTV Code of Practice consultation to ensure Meath’s views are heard at national level.

Speaking after the meeting, Chairperson Ciaran Flynn said: “The Partnership is now well up and running, and we look forward to engaging with the community in many ways to help build a safer County Meath.”
