Knockharley Community Grant Scheme 2017 - Apply Now

Meath County Council and the Knockharley Community Liaison Committee invite applications for grant assistance, under the Knockharley Community Grant Scheme 2017 from community groups and organisations in the Kentstown/Knockharley and surrounding areas.

Examples of projects eligible for funding are:

  • Parks
  • Amenity areas
  • Walking areas
  • Community halls and resource centres
  • Community arts projects
  • Playgrounds
  • Recreational facilities
  • Local heritage projects

Projects which show a combination of a range of guaranteed funding mechanisms such as local sponsorship, Sports Capital funding, Leader funding, Enterprise funding etc., will be particularly encouraged. Assistance will not be available to fund maintenance or day to day running expenses. Mobile assets, such as sports equipment, will not be considered for financial assistance unless otherwise agreed by the Council and Knockharley Landfill Community Liaison Committee at their absolute discretion.

Closing date for receipt of completed application forms is Friday, 14th July, 2017 at 4.00 p.m.

Applications received after the closing date will not be considered and will be returned.

The scheme is funded by Knockharley Landfill Ltd and administered by Meath County Council.
