Presented by Meath’s own Darragh McCullough, Writer's Way is a travel series centred on writers, with each episode following a different author on a personally curated journey through County Meath.
Along the way, viewers are introduced to some of the county's most iconic landmarks, hidden gems, talented craftspeople, food producers and visitor attractions. The series highlights everything from castles and heritage sites to local businesses, beaches and the vibrant communities that make Meath such a special place.
The series features a range of acclaimed Irish and international writers and was developed by Meath County Council as a unique way of promoting the county as a destination for visitors from Ireland and abroad.
In addition to its launch in Ireland on RTÉ Player, Writer's Way will begin airing in the United States this week, initially reaching audiences in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut through PBS, with wider distribution planned. The series is also expected to be broadcast in Australia from January 2027.
