The Trim Municipal District Pride of Place awards were held in Byrnes Bar, Ballivor on Thursday last, September 26th, 2019.

Chairperson of Trim Municipal District, Cllr. Noel French welcomed the guests which included local Councillors and representatives from 24 local community and voluntary groups. Cllr. French commended the fantastic work and achievements of the voluntary groups which demonstrates a real pride the people of Trim Municipal District have in their locality.

One of the highlights of the night was the award of the Community Age Friendly Initiative prize to Prosper Meath Trim for the work they carried out to develop a Community Garden through collaboration with a number of partners including the local primary school.  The garden is open for all to enjoy and has something for everyone of all ages and all abilities.
