Meeting Rooms

Meeting room space is available in some of our libraries for community meetings, programmes or events of an educational, cultural, or civic nature.

Community groups can book meeting rooms in the following libraries subject to the conditions below.

  • Ashbourne
  • Dunboyne
  • Enfield
  • Navan 
  • Oldcastle
  • Trim

Ashbourne Library

Ashbourne has 4 meeting rooms. Rooms are available for booking during the library’s normal opening hours and also on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays between 5 and 9 pm.

Room 1 has a capacity of up to 60 people (seated)

Room 2 has a capacity of up to 30 people (seated)

Room 3 has a capacity of up to 25 people (seated)

The Council Chamber has a capacity of up to 40 people (seated)

The 2 open area spaces can accommodate up to 200 people.

Dunboyne Library

The room has a capacity of 10 (seated).

Enfield Library

Enfield Library has 2 meeting rooms:

Meeting Room 1 has a capacity of 2 people (seated).

Meeting Room 2 has a capacity of 10 (seated).

Navan Library

Navan has 2 meeting rooms. 

Room 1 has a capacity of up to 20 people seated and has access to a small kitchen.

Room 2 has a capacity of up to 35 people, seated and has a large screen and WiFi access.

Oldcastle Library

The room has a capacity of 80 (seated) and has a large screen.

Slane Library

The room has a capacity of 10 (seated) with a TV screen.

Trim Library

Open Library Access is available in Trim Library and the meeting room is bookable during the Open Library Hours as well as the library’s staffed hours. The room has a capacity of 10.

Equipment

Groups can book the following equipment for use, subject to availability:

WiFi Access is also available in each space.

To book a meeting room 

  1. Please read the Meeting Room Usage Policy (see below)
  2. Complete the Meeting Room Use Application Form (available below)
  3. Bring or send your completed application form to the relevant library.
